Where the Rain Falls is an innovative community based adaptation initiative in 40 villages in the rain-fed district of Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. In this initiative 1700 Self Help Groups (SHGs) members, farmers in adivasi (tribal) communities and Village Development Committee (VDC) members were trained on soil, water conservation techniques and climate-smart agriculture practices to help farmers adapt to climate change and lift them out of poverty.
